Kindergarten I/Playgroup (Ages 2 – 2 ½ years)

Pupils learn phonetic sounds, counting of numbers using songs and rhymes. They learn identification of numerals and letters. Also children in this age cadre also learn writing of numerals and letters through tracing and also how to scribble and paint objects.

They should also be able to handle sensorial materials.

Kindergarten II (Ages 3 years +)

Children in this class should be able to trace numerals and pictures. They should be able to do Dot-to-Dot exercises. They should be able to write letters dictated at random. Kindergarten II pupils are also able to count objects and match number rods with number card. They should be able to do simple addition, work with sensorial and practical life materials.

Nursery I ( 4 years)

Children in this class should be able to write letters and numbers randomly. Their works include, simple addition, simple subtraction and building of simple multiplication tables, introduction to fractions, building of two, three and four letter words phonetic.

Their subjects include, social studies, Elementary Science, Religious Knowledge, Civic Education, Sensorial, P.L.E, Creative Art, Carpentry and Joinery.

Nursery 2 (Age 5)

They should be able to build up numbers, do addition and subtraction under tens and units. They should be able to build multiplication tables 2 and 3, write numbers in words, do simple division, also draw and identify shapes.

Their works include forming of simple sentences with three to seven letter words. Reading with phonograms and phonetic words, writing of simple sentences. Other subjects include, poetry, practical life exercise, elementary science, cultural subjects, social studies, sensorial education et.c.
