Dear Parents/Guardians,

We give thanks and adoration to the almighty God for his grace and mercies throughout the year. We sincerely thank you Parents from the bottom of our hearts for your support, understanding and co-operation towards sustaining the high quality of education given to the children despite the economic recession. May your efforts on the children never be in vain in the name of Almighty God. [Amen]

Events for the term

P.T.A Meeting/ Open-day

The P.T.A meeting/Open-day came up on Saturday 18th November. We want the Parents to know that their attendance at the P.T.A meeting/Open-day can not be over emphasized. We appeal to Parents and Guardians to always attend the meeting punctually.

Text books

Up till now, some of the children are yet to get some of the textbooks used in the class. We are appealing to parents whose wards are yet to get all their textbooks to please make sure they buy the textbooks needed in the class. Without textbooks little can be done and little can be achieved.

Assignment

Parents should note that assignment implies ‘homework’ so children’s homework has to be monitored at home. If a child scores low in homework, this might affect his/her exams scores as assignments are part of their continuous assessment.

Kindly make sure that your wards do the holiday assignment given thoroughly.

Upliftment of the School

The school has replaced some of the instructional materials needed to make teaching and learning easier for both the learners and the teachers. e.g

(1) Big Piano

(2) Projector

(3) Flat screen TV for the K.G class.

(4) New computer system

2023/2024 School Prefects

Sixteen pupils were chosen as the school prefects in order for them to have sense of responsibilities.

First Term Examination

The school started the first term exams on Friday 1st of December and ended their papers on Thursday 7th December, 2023.

There is no cause for alarm if a child’s performance differs from what it was before. Being in a new class with a new teacher couple with the fact that the higher they go the tougher their work may affect some individuals.

End of the Year’s Party cum Christmas Carol

Small party was organized for the children in the school compound. Thanks to our donors.

Coming Events

Indomie fan Club

We are thinking of welcoming the indomie fan club back to school after withdrawal from the club because of extortion. The registration money is six thousand five hundred naira (#6500) only. But the renewal to continue the membership is yearly.

School Fees

We really appreciate the parents who pay their wards fees promptly and appeal to others to emulate them so as to make it easier for the school to meet her responsibilities.

Fees Increment

In order to retain our staff, we have to increase the fees as we all know the rate of inflation. It is very unfortunate but we just have to make some adjustments in school fees and staff salaries.

We appeal to Parents and Guardians to pay the second term fees to any of the under listed banks on or before 8th Jan. 2024.

First Bank – Mother’s Joy Nursery/Primary School Acct. No, 2003972184

Zenith Bank—Mother’s Joy comprehensive School Acct. No, 1011912209
